MTSS

What is MTSS? 

A Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a •tiered system of supports within a school that integrates assessments and interventions using the multi-level prevention system to increase student achievement and decrease behavioral problems. RTI and SST are processes under the MTSS framework. MTSS is generally a broader term that addresses students’ social, emotional and behavioral needs as well as academic issues.
