Dress Code/Uniform Policy (2026-27)
Carver Early College Students and Families,
The wait is over! We are excited to announce that the official Carver Early College – School Store is now open.
Students, families, staff, and alumni can now purchase approved uniform apparel, spirit wear, and Panther gear all in one convenient location. Whether you are preparing for the first day of school, looking for everyday uniform pieces, or showing your Panther pride at athletic events and school activities, the Carver School Store has something for everyone.

Uniform Expectations
To help maintain a safe, focused, and professional learning environment, all students in grades 9–12 are expected to wear the approved school uniform Monday through Friday unless otherwise communicated by school administration. Exceptions may include approved dress-down days, spirit days, or special school events.
Uniform Requirements
Shoes: Sneakers or other closed-toe shoes are permitted. For the safety of our scholars, please refrain from wearing Slides, Crocs, Flip Flops and Bedroom Slidesare not allowed.
Outerwear: Please ensure all outerwear is either an approved Early College
hoodie/sweater or a plain, solid-colored garment in our school colors.
Open House Uniform Sales
For families who would like to purchase items in person, a limited quantity of uniform Polo tops and spirit t-shirts will be available during Open House Friday, July 31st while supplies last.
We encourage families to place orders through the uniform website

''Dress for Success'' Cheat Sheet
To keep our community safe, focused, and looking sharp, all students (Grades 9-12) are expected to wear approved uniforms Monday through Friday.
Dress Down days are ONLY approved by Administration.

Footwear Rule: Keep it active and safe! Sneakers or other closed-toe shoes are required.
No slides or bedroom shoes allowed on campus!
What to Leave at Home:
- Spandex
- Jeans (Approved for Dress Down Days (S) without rips or holes)
- Jogging Pants
- Leggings worn as pants are not permitted.
- Hoodies with logos/ graphics that are not associated with Carver EC.
- Crocs, Flip-Flops, Slides, Bedroom Slippers, etc.

Board Policy JDCB (Student Dress Code)
The Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent shall require each school principal to establish an advisory committee comprised of parents, students, and school staff to formulate and/or revise the student dress code for the school and school-sponsored activities. The school principal has the authority to interpret the dress code for the school and make a case-by-case determination of the appropriateness of a student’s dress and grooming. Violations of the dress code policy will be addressed through the district’s progressive discipline policy.
The Carver Early College School Governance Team voted and approved the Student Dress Code/Uniform Policy stated above.
